I have no idea what's going on with the mdkd3d.exe file that is in the archive provided here. So.I did some research, disassembled the code and made a proper no-cd tweak based on the fresh mdkd3d.exe that you can download from the net. It got past the CD check, but got hung up on 'MDK Executable Version Is Incompatible with MDK CD.' While the tweak instructions matched for this executable, the tweak didn't work.

Downloaded the mdkd3d.exe patch fresh from the net. Found the hex tweaks on some other sites to convert the various executables to no-cd, but the mdkd3d.exe version with this archive didn't match. I was having the problem when trying to run the mdkd3d.exe version where the program would prompt for the CD. I don't know about any of the other problems except for. The mdkw95.exe runs fine for me on win XP Pro SP2 after changing the mdk.cfg file as others have indicated before. I know I've seen the movie, I haven't played the game. It's really not bad for an action flick, and there are some fairly funny parts as well. Bad guy somehow gets thawed out (don't remember how) and starts doing his bad-guy thing, so Stallone is also thawed out to catch him. The basic premise of the film: Really bad guy (Wesley Snipes) is apprehended by law enforcement (Sylvester Stallone), but many innocent people die in the process, so both individuals are punished by being put into cryogenic suspension. I haven't actually played the game, so I don't know for sure, but none of the screenshots look anything like the film. However, I played the game with an open CD-rom, so the game didn't need any CD. When Kosta gave me the review, that note wasn't there.
